The Kitchen on the Street Executive Board
Chief Administrative Officer
Cheryl Woodring is an Arizona native and has a heart for serving those her community, especially children. She serves regularly as a children’s choir leader and is a permanent fixture in the adult choir and music ministry at her home church, Scottsdale Bible Church. She has participated in outreach missions in the Phoenix area and Romania and has prepared and served meals to children through Neighborhood Ministries. She also has a history of serving non profit organizations in areas of fundraising and event planning with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Foundation for Blind Children.
Chief Accounting Officer
Vince Scarpinato is a co-founder of Kitchen on the Street, Inc. He has served people in need in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Arizona. During his culinary career on the east coast, Vince provided personal assistance to those in need, as well as through associations with various organizations. After his relocation to AZ, he became involved with Sojourner Center, lending his expertise in the kitchen remodel project. He has also been involved with Phoenix Rescue Mission and United Way. He lends his entrepreneurial knowledge and leadership to the organization and recently earned his MBA to better serve KOS in the areas of finance and accounting.
Chief Operating Officer
Tom Luzader relocated to Arizona in 1961; he is married with six children and 2 grandchildren. Tom and his wife Donna have owned/operated a business in the Phoenix area for the last eight years. Tom is a foot soldier feeding the hungry in the public eye and along the quiet streets of Phoenix. He has given countless volunteer hours with local churches and Phoenix Rescue Mission, but is frequently seen blessing people in need with a bag of groceries from a local market. God has placed a burden on his heart for feeding those in need, especially those he encounters in his daily travels. Tom lends his business experience and contacts as well as his entrepreneurial spirit to further the mission and ministry of Kitchen on the Street.
Chief Executive Officer
Lisa Scarpinato is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Kitchen on the Street. Her community involvement includes volunteer work at homeless shelters and food banks like Phoenix Rescue Mission, as well as churches and outreach programs locally and abroad. Attending grade school and high school in the Valley, she feels a great sense of urgency to improve the lives of impoverished children in Arizona. Lisa is a recipient of the POINTS OF LIGHT AWARD in recognition of her community service and involvement in co-founding Kitchen on the Street as well as the Women Doing Good Award presented by Self Magazine and L’Oreal. She is a member of the President’s Circle, an Advisory Committee of Paradise Valley Community College.
Board Member
Matthew Snowden learned to value service to others through his rural Ohio upbringing. His volunteerism expanded with Key Club in high school and through several impactful organizations during undergrad at Arizona State University. He is a true outdoorsman with golf, hunting and fishing ranking among his favorite hobbies. Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business, is actively involved at Living Streams Church and continually offers his experience and expertise to serve Kitchen on the Street. Matt’s passions include sharing the mission of Kitchen on the Street with potential partners and rolling up his sleeves packing Bags of Hope with his wife Lindsay and fellow KOS supporters.
Board Member
Lindsay Snowden is a teacher in the Creighton District (Phoenix, AZ), she sees firsthand the affects hunger has on children. A native of Arizona, Lindsay recently felt a call to serve local children in the classroom and through Kitchen on the Street. She lends her invaluable daily school experiences, her sincere love of children and her servant’s heart to expand and improve Kitchen on the Street’s mission. When Lindsay is not serving others, she enjoys hiking, camping and fishing.
Board Member
Rudy De La Luz Jr. is a Texas native committed to the San Antonio community, a dedicated husband and father of three. Rudy serves as the lead for Kitchen on the Street Texas. His experience working with children through team sports at the YMCA, his years of faithful service to local churches and non-profit organizations and his sincere desire to serve God equip him to work alongside volunteers to meet the needs of San Antonio’s most vulnerable children. Rudy serves as a Licensed Financial Advisor at USAA and lends his business experience and passion to further Kitchen on the Street’s mission of turning hunger into hope…one child at a time.
